Talent Searches

Be Discovered talent searches give aspiring performers the chance to be seen by today’s leading industry decision makers. Adjudicators are scouts, casting directors, booking agents, producers and directors. Participants who have a marketable look and/or show talent and potential are considered for auditions, jobs and could even be offered contracts. Although the prestige of winning a Be Discovered talent search and being considered for bookings are fantastic prizes in themselves, other prizes are awarded including scholarships, classes, photo shoots, meet and greets with stars and industry pro’s and much more.

The Hamilton Spectator's Be Discovered Talent Search was a huge success. Many new faces and performers scouted had the chance to audition and or be booked on stage, movies, music videos, commercials and print ads after participating. Even the ones who didn't win the top prize in the categories of Dancers, Singers, Actors and Models. Matt Carroll, 2nd place dance winner was booked by us on an Aaron Carter music video within weeks of being scouted at the talent search. That was his ticket to fame. As a result, he toured the world with Aaron for 2 years.

In his Hamilton Spectator article Jeff Mahoney wrote: "This summer Carroll was picked as one of the winners in the dance category in The Hamilton Spectator's recent Be Discovered talent search. One of the prizes was representation by a Toronto talent agent, who turned out to be Diana Uribe. She lined up an audition for him to dance for Carter's rap video, which was being shot in Toronto. The Aaron Carter video and the Michael Jackson concert in New York are far and away the most exciting gigs Carroll has landed so far."

Be Discovered had a talent search for a Winners department store Face Book and TV ad campaign. We saw the best dancers in Ontario and 4 were selected.
