Does Be Discovered have an affiliate program for dance instructors?
Be Discovered has a special program for dance instructors. For every two dancers that are awarded a $2,500 scholarship online and take part in our program, you will receive a $2,500 gift certificate toward the dance intensive of your choice or toward an in studio custom workshop, or a $500 cash donation to your school. 1 gift certificate per dance intensive or in studio custom workshop.
I am serious about Broadway Bound! How do I register? Is there a deadline to register?
Broadway Bound! sells out annually and registration is on a first come basis. Once we are sold out, we will remove the registration information from the site and post that we are sold out. July 14 is the early bird date that guarantees your spot and saves you money.

By time of travel, you must be at least ten years old to attend Broadway Bound. Broadway Bound! is for dancers of all ages. Annually we have dancers in their teens and twenties attend.
Does a dancer under eighteen years old need parental/guardian permission to attend?
Yes, dancers under 18 require parental permission to attend.Does a parent have to travel with their underage dancer?
Broadway Bound requires that one parent/guardian travel with their dancer if they are under 13 years old. For dancers 13 years and older, dancers do not travel with a parent as the program has chaperones. If a parent wants to travel with a dancer, they may be invited to join us at the hotel and on some outings. Contact us for details.
Do I have to be a professional dancer or want to be discovered to attend Broadway Bound!?
No, dancers of all levels can apply for Broadway Bound! and you do not need to want to be discovered.
What types of dancers are invited to apply to Broadway Bound!?
Dancers who can take direction well, have an interest in the entertainment industry, like to meet others who share their love of dance and who want to be a part of a structured program are invited to apply.
What type of classes can dancers take and what are the levels offered during Broadway Bound!?
The studios offer professional training at an accelerated pace in Theatre Dance, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Contemporary Jazz, Tap, Break and more. Levels including Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Open are available for dancers to choose from.
How many dancers have attended Broadway Bound! and have any attended more than once?
In four years, thirty-five dancers have been a part of Broadway Bound! Each program only has from 10 to 20 dancers at a time, with the largest ever being 14 which is still very small and intimate. Keri Post and Maddie Dawson have attended twice. Dancers from all across the U.S., Canada and even Cyprus have joined us.
Do you need to audition for Broadway Bound!?
We would love to see you dance at a Be Discovered workshop if you would like to be considered for auditions and bookings. If you are not interested in being considered for auditions and want to just train through Broadway Bound!, we do not need to see you dance.
Have any of the dancers attended auditions during Broadway Bound!?
For the last two years, we have invited top New York agents to sit in at some workshops and view the dancers for consideration for auditions and bookings. Dancers not wishing to be considered for work can just get an assessment from the agents if they wish.
Are auditions or bookings guaranteed during or after Broadway Bound!?
No, auditions or bookings are not guaranteed during or after Broadway Bound! You will have the chance to attend auditions or bookings while in N.Y. if you fit the type being cast. You will also have the chance to meet dance and choreography agents. During Broadway Bound! you will have the chance to work closely with Be Discovered who may consider you for auditions and bookings following the experience.
As Broadway Bound! is during the holidays, it is slow in the industry so auditions do not normally take place at this time.
It is illegal and unethical for any company or person to guarantee auditions or work in the industry.
What does the Broadway Bound! package include? What does it not include?
Broadway Bound! offers an all inclusive program which includes medical insurance for Canadian dancers, airport transfers, meals, chaperones, transportation, the one week intensive and shared accommodations. The package does not include airfare as dancers travel from all over the world. The photo shoot is recommended but is optional and is not included in the package.
Dancers traveling with family not wishing to room with other dancers can room with their family and receive a discounted package cost that does not include shared accommodations. Rooms for family can be booked by us at a discounted cost to you.
If you travel on your own, you will be met at the N.Y. airport. A group flies out of Toronto annually so if you are in Ontario you can fly with the group. If you have air miles, it would be ideal for you to use them to get a free flight. Upon request, Be Discovered can assist you with booking your flight.
What type of emergency medical insurance is included in the Broadway Bound! package?
Canadian dancers coverage is five million dollars on non existing medical conditions with a zero deductible.
What meals are included in the package and what if a dancer has special dietary needs?
All meals, snacks and beverages are included. Inform us of your special dietary needs as Broadway Bound! dancers have been vegetarians, lactose intolerant and have had severe food allergies. Meals are customized by a personal trainer and nutritionist. Junk food and caffeinated drinks are prohibited.
Are Broadway Bound! scholarships available and if so, how can a dancer be considered for one?
We have just started a $2,500
scholarship program to our 1 week Broadway Bound! The New York City Winter
Intensive and our 1 week
Summer in L.A. dance programs. The scholarships are awarded on passion for
dance.
Apply Now! Scholarships are transferable to any Summer in L.A. or Broadway
Bound Intensive. Limit of $2,500 per program and $5,000 for the Extended
Intensive.
$1,000.00 scholarships are also awarded at competitions and at
Be Discovered
workshops. If you have been awarded one of these scholarships, you can apply for
an additional $2,500 scholarship, for a combined total of $3,500, which is
almost 50% off the full costs of the program.

Congratulations on your award! Read all the Q & A's where you will find all the information required, including costs and booking your spot. Make sure that your first and last name is printed on the first line on the certificate you were awarded. Photo copy the certificate and mail in along with the Application Forms & Waivers to get the $1000 US discount. Do not fax or email it. Keep the original as that is your commemorative award. Summer in LA scholarships are transferable to Broadway Bound.
I have been awarded a Broadway Bound! scholarship. Can I transfer it?
All Broadway Bound! scholarships are transferable for up to one year to Broadway Bound! It may also be transferred to another Be Discovered Trip or Workshop, if available. Scholarships are not transferable to another dancer. Be sure to sign up for our Newsletter to keep up to date on upcoming Trips and Workshops to choose one you can attend.
